One night, in his almost empty tower block in present-day London, Adam has a chance encounter with a mysterious neighbour, Harry, who turns the rhythm of his daily life upside down. As a relationship develops between them, Adam is troubled by memories of the past and returns to his hometown and childhood home where his parents seem to be alive, just as they were on the day of his death 30 years earlier.
